My morning walks and cleaning the kibbutz fence

For the last seven months I have cleaned up along the fence of the kibbutz gathering incredible amounts of garbage.

How fun it is to walk along a clean fence seeing the colors of the autumn, and the peacocks with their very blue color standing out, and look at peacock youth showing off the beauty of his feathers. Soon you will be ready !

This week had a surprise of white men climbing to the roof of the sports hall; according to my dear they took down the asbestos on the roof.

In the last month I have cleaned the way up to the swimming pool (12 bags of garbage and three loads of jeep full of garbage).

I also cleaned the area of the grove close to the general garbage dump (25 garbage bags and four loads of jeep; by the way there is still half a jeep to pick up when My Dear feels up for it). Here are pictures before and after cleaning it up.

Before - it was a mess

It is clean!

But today a surprise, the appearance of a new pile of what, garbage? Or for storage? not nice in the landscape:

When I look at the area around the garbage dump, I do not understand what the kibbutz wants here. It looks horrible and is getting worse every week, dirty, a mess all around. I assume perhaps future archaeologist a century from might find it interesting but will dismiss our ways of not caring for our environment; as a community we should handle our garbage appropriately, not just throwing it wherever.

This is shameful
