SINAI, NUWIEBA: CAMELS ON A ROMANTIC GET-AWAY

What is your idea of a romantic get-away?

We drove through the dusty desert with mountains and a few acacia trees when we arrived at the resort in Nuwieba.

Walking through the lobby we came into the garden with very green grass, a strong contrast

grass in a haze of irrigation in which the rays of the sun spread an array of light and colors.

Along the sides of the grass the paths were lined by colorful flowers and an army of butterflies jumping from flower to flower directing us to the beach and the shore.

The sea felt like a breath of fresh air after a day in the desert, promising that you could get rid of the sand stuck in your ears.

Walking along the edge of the water where the gentle waves of the sea may reach and wet your feet was a nice contrast to the day’s desert sand filling the space between my toes.

Strolling the shore while enjoying the brilliant shades of blue sky and an even bluer sea.

On the beach the sand had been raked as in a Japanese Zen Garden, only without the rocks, but the quiet peaceful mood did hit us and we enjoyed quality time together.

Behind us the majestic mountains made us seem small, but we did not notice ourselves because of the breath-taking picturesque surroundings, far away from the routines of everyday life.

Strolling along the edge of the water we came upon a couple on a romantic outing, in what looked like camels engaged in the giddy, euphoric emotion of falling in love; don’t you think so?

Part of a romantic outing, is to cool down in the ocean, as did our first lover here!

the water is really wet!
